  The store generally has poor parking facilities considering it’s size, is poorly laid out and has a very limited wine range; I am really not sure why it is referred to as a Tesco superstore. My main issue is with the pharmacy. I requested a simple blood pressure test so I could order my prescription online, and one of the staff members abruptly refused. When she said she was not able to, I had accepted it and was about to just head off, but she repeatedly drew me back into conversation and kept making multiple excuses as to why she could not take my my bloody pressure. The excuses ranged from being “understaffed” (there were two pharmacists and I was the only customer...) and having “‘major problems with the newly upgraded systems” (hardly an excuse and not really my problem). Generally she was rude and very confrontational. Ironically she spent 10 minutes lecturing me about why she could not take a blood pressure, when it would have taken only 2 to carry out the test. I took the complaint further and rang Tesco directly. The phone operator was very sympathetic and apologised (he was also confused as to why they were unable to take my blood pressure). I received a gift voucher and an apology in the post, but it is hardly compensation for the horrendous customer service I receieved. My advice: be wary of taking your blood pressure in this Tesco store, the reading is likely to be high.
