  My complaint with Rugby Fitted kitchens is not the product or the fitters. I have to say that the quality of the kitchen we chose and the fitters are very good, and now it is finally finished it looks good. My issue is with the customer service. Right from the first day of fitting we had issues (the wrong cabinets had been ordered), that was the first of many errors and issues, all from not enough care and attention put into ordering. What made things worse was the fact that it was always us doing the chasing and I don't think we ever got a call telling us when things would be ready or what the status was. Not even a bottle of wine as an apology for having to put up with a mistake made by them. The whole reason we went with a kitchen company was so it be less hassle and completed quicker than what we could do ourselves. In hindsight I think that was the opposite. I got the distinct feeling from Trevor (the owner) that once he had our money all he cared about was spending it on his holiday at his house in the south of France. It was eventually completed 2 months after starting, rather than the week it was meant to take. I would not recommend Rugby Fitted Kitchens to anyone. Buying a new kitchen is not something you do everyday and it should be an exciting and enjoyable experience, not with RFK!
